The old town is now the second largest tourist destination in the city of Panama. And a few seconds before the Panama Canal. In fact, nine of the ten sites that sell to tourists from countries use pictures, talk or "sell" the old town. And no wonder: it is a colonial gem with a spectacular seascape, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
But something is better than Casco Viejo Panama Canal: tourism revenues today are far superior to the Knights of income. And while people visit the first channel, spend your tourist dollars in dozens of restaurants, theaters and art galleries of Old Town. It is simply a lively, and as such, its potential as a multiplier.
Today, this beautiful old town is threatened by the government's desire to Panama to build a road around it. UNESCO and civil society organization shaving raised warning voice against this project would destroy the historical authenticity of the site.
The pictures you see on this blog have been taken less than ten minutes on Sunday afternoon. Seeing both local and foreign to fully enjoy the site, peace, sea, tropical breezes and romance.
Costa Rica does not have an old town! To have something like The Vaults!
